Our Program

Our Program

Chicago Career Tech is a no cost job re-training initiative that strives to close the workforce skills gap. To date, 950 unemployed Chicagoans and more than 150 businesses and nonprofit organizations have participated in the program. Chicago Career Tech offers two types of programs – corporate-based Pathways to Employment and education-based Career Training.

Pathways to Employment

Pathways to Employment  are corporate-based programs with local businesses that have immediate hiring needs, offering both education and hands-on training. Upon completion of the program, participants may be interviewed and considered for immediate employment.

Career Training

Career Training is an education-based, three- to six-month program that includes the quality, hands-on training, classroom education and career counseling necessary for participants to obtain and succeed in high-demand technology-based careers. Each track offers industry-recognized certification upon completion of the program.
