
Career Training is an education-based, intensive, three- to six-month program that provides the following to unemployed Chicagoans:
- Certified classroom training from leading educational institutions
- Hands-on learning experience where participants apply their newly acquired skills at a Chicago-based business or nonprofit organization
- Career and professional development services
- Unlimited opportunities to grow professional networks
The program takes place either five or six days/week with three days spent at the hands-on learning assignment and one or two days in the classroom. Program duration is dependent on training tracks. The remaining day of the week is dedicated to studying and professional development with services including career coaching, resume and interview workshops and networking events.
